Asheber × Anjelo Disons: Live Sounds of Afrikan Revolution. Six Saturdays at Bay 56 / Acklam Village, presented by Roots Renaissance and The Oracle Collective.

Context
The V1llage is described in its foundational concept as a post-Grenfell diasporic space for healing, autonomy and legacy-building: community-owned, intergenerational and culturally rooted. It has also grown as a communal space for Notting Hill Carnival.
Oracle’s role
The Oracle co-presented the residency with Roots Renaissance. Anjelo Disons co-led each night with Asheber, including the closing jam.
Creative concept
Each Saturday opened its doors at 7pm, with a drum call at 8pm, a performance, then an open jam hosted by Asheber and Anjelo Disons until 11pm.
Artists and collaborators
Asheber and Anjelo Disons, with Roots Renaissance.
